Overview
An evening tasting walk through Tangier's medina and markets — fresh seafood, msemen and harira, mint tea in the Petit Socco and the produce souks around the Grand Socco.
Tangier eats well, thanks to its port and its mix of Moroccan, Andalusian and Mediterranean influences. On this evening walk a local food guide takes you through the markets around the Grand Socco, into the medina's food lanes, and to the small, good places locals actually use.
You'll taste your way through the evening — grilled and fried seafood from the port, msemen and street pastries, a bowl of harira, olives and cheeses from the market stalls — and finish over mint tea in the Petit Socco. Come hungry; this replaces dinner.

Frequently asked
Questions about this tour.
Is the food walk enough for dinner?
Yes — there are enough tastings across the evening to stand in for dinner for most people. Come hungry and pace yourself across the stops.
Can you cater for vegetarians or allergies?
We can adapt the route for vegetarians and for common allergies if you tell us in advance. Some seafood-heavy stops can be swapped for vegetable, bread and dairy tastings.
