    Over the Rif to Chefchaouen

    A scenic two-hour drive south into the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen. Spend the afternoon in the indigo medina, Outa el-Hammam square and the kasbah, then climb to the Spanish Mosque for sunset over the blue rooftops.

    Akchour waterfalls & return

    A morning hike to the Akchour waterfalls and the God's Bridge rock arch in Talassemtane National Park, then the drive back to Tangier for your onward connection.

  • Chefchaouen has no airport; the road from Tangier takes about two hours through the Rif.
  • Photograph the blue medina early — day-trip coaches arrive late morning.
